Prende il via il progetto "Teaching in virtual worlds", nato dalla collaborazione tra me e Steven Kirby, docente e formatore inglese con il quale condivido la passione per le tecnologie didattiche.
La prima volta che ci siamo incontarti, seduti vicini in treno a Copenhagen, per conoscerci ci siamo scambiati i nostri ipod touch senza parlare.
Intesa immediata :)
Il nostro progetto, inserito nel framwork di eTwinning, intende creare un gruppo internazionale di docenti interessati a fare esperienze di apprendimento/insegnamento nei mondi virtuali e a condividerle.
Tutto si svolge in Second Life, nella prima fase, e poi in Opensim nella seconda.
I docenti molto nOOb troveranno aiuto e supporto in quelli già skillati nell'uso della piattaforma.
E questo è tutto quello che possiamo dire adesso.
Il resto lo decideranno tutti assieme i docenti che parteciperanno.

"Teaching in virtual worlds" is getting started.
The project was born under the collaboration between me and Steven Kirby, an English teacher and teachers trainer who shares with me the same passion for educational technologies.
The first time we met was in the train heading to Copenhagen: we swapped our ipod touch to break the ice and it was enough to understand our mutual passion.
Our project, included in the Framework of eTwinning, intends to create an international group of teachers interested in sharing both learning and teaching experiences in virtual worlds. Everything takes place in Second Life, in the first round, and then in Opensim. Very nOOb (newbie) teachers will find help and support from those already skilled in the use of the platform.
That's all I can say right now. The rest will be decided together by partecipating teachers.
